![]() Rating: - Antiques Roadshow InsiderI did not receive my first issue until August 2, 2008. It was interesting but the pictures are sometimes too small. I did enjoy the articles which were informative. The information on source material was valuable but I hope that the show would have more information on line. I give the magazine a B for a grade. Rating: - my pleasureAfter being on antiques roadshow, the insider has given me better knowledge & appreciation of the search. The depth of the articles always satisfies my interests. I always look forward to the next issue. Thank you so much. Rating: - 18th to early 19th century paintings{oil and watercolor}The experts are genuinely interested in the appraisals they give and seem truly interested in being very helpful and informative with each person and what they have brought to the Roadshow. I can honestly say some of the paintings I viewed are quite good and very desireable to a dealer or collector.I was a dealer myself, had a shop in the Hamptons, L.I. and did many Connecticut antique shows. I have a fine collection myself of many types of Early Americana. ... Read More Rating: - TELL ME WHAT IT'S MADE OFI JUST RECEIVED MY FIRST COPY & THINK THAT IT IS VERY INFORMATIVE. THERE IS A SMALL ARTICLE ON A DOLL THAT WAS FROM JAPAN WITH A VERY NICE PICTURE. I JUST WISH THAT (WITH DOLLS ESPECIALLY) YOU COULD TELL US WHAT IT IS MADE OF. I HAVE A DOLL THAT LOOKS LIKE IT, BUT IT COULD BE OF A DIFFERENT MATERIAL. IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL TO KNOW. I WILL BE PUTING MY ISSUES IN A FOLDER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. THANKS! Rating: - Antiques Roadshow Insider mimics showThis magazine is great for anyone who doesn't always get the opportunity to see the show on a regular basis. If you watch the show regularly and re-watch it in repeats, the magazine will not tell you anything you didn't already see. It is nice to have it somewhere in writing to make references though.
